August 21--The garden is winding down at this point in the summer. The tomatoes have done all they are going to, and the heat is getting to everything else.
This week, we'll be removing all plants from the beds and "cleaning" the soil of any weeds and other growth. I'll leave them empty and covered in black plastic for about 2 weeks to kill off any weeds. Around September 1st, I'll plant the winter seeds. Not sure what we'll plant yet, this weather is changing too fast.
